Re: Haynesworth might learn a few things about Shanahan from Plummer

Where there's smoke, there's fire. I can't remember where I read it, but I have read that Haynesworth is not a 'big city' guy. I also work with someone who knows the Haynesworth family, and grew up with his Albert's uncle. He said that Albert loved the University of Tennessee; the area, the people. He enjoyed playing for the Titans, and that Albert grew up a shy, introverted kid, but very temperamental. And that the criticism he received here really bothered him. He didn't say anything about Albert wanting to be traded or averse to the 3-4. Personally I think he would be fine with a trade, and he doesn't want to play in a 3-4.

It seems obvious to me that he came here for the money first and foremost. I have felt that he never seemed to really fit in here. He has made statements about the 3-4, his refusal to attend OTAs and possibly not attending voluntary camp just sends a very negative message as far as I am concerned. I do not see any way this gets resolved except for a trade. Of course I can't get in Shanahan's head, but I believe he will get whatever he can for Haynesworth and move on.

Too much smoke in the air for it all to be misrepresentation.
