I love the picks we've made so far. i understand people are disappointed that we didn't draft certain "big name" guys that were still available with our 4th and 6th, but when you think about it, if we, the comparatively uneducated fans know about some of these guys, then i'm sure our FO was thoroughly familiar with them - there's a reason these guys were/are still available in the draft. I trust our FO to pick the players which they think will have the greatest chance to contribute here.

All this talk about vinny still running the show is foolish. regardless of what scouts we've got, its shanahan and allen actually making the selections. if they pick a LB or TE we've never heard of over an offensive lineman, then its because they feel that guy can add to the team - even if its only as competition to push a veteran on the roster to perform better.

The Vinny "jokes" are just sarcasm at it's finest.
