Re: ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. looks at Redskins' late-round draft picks

some sense, yes. but a top 5 player dropping to 48 is almost unheard of. still, i didn't mean to make a mountain out of a molehill. just pointing out that anyone's opinion of a draft two days after it happens should be taken with a grain of salt, including kipers. no one is infallible.... except me, of course.

hear me out - we could have essentially gotten jake plummer for free, kept our 2nd round pick, and used it on a free safety, something we desperately need. you can't tell me donovan mcnabb is better than a jake plummer nate allen combo! heck, if we had gotten plummer, we wouldnt have been forced to take Williams at 4. We could have selected Spiller with our 1st, used our 2nd on an OT, and then picked up Jevon Snead after the draft to learn under Plummer for a couple of years and become our franchise QB in 2012. Jake Plummer would have solved all of this teams problems. Heck, if a guy with Plummers credentials had been our QB, you know Haynesworth would have been in camp. McNabb can take us to one superbowl. Plummer could take us to seven. why the redskins FO didn't listen to me, we'll never know.
