I wish we could get over this issue. There has been no lying about M.Shanahan liking the 3-4. It was even reported that he went to the Steeler's and Patriots camp last yr to see how they ran it.
I honestly don't see how this will be a huge concern. Meaning we have players with talent. Teams pick players out of college all the time not knowing if they will work out or not. But for some reason we are up in arms about players who we already know have talent to play not being able to play in our 3-4? I don't have a problem with the 3-4 and am happy they are finally changing to it. The scheme is harder to disect and figure out where the rush is coming from vs. the 4-3 which is a more stringent defense and teams can deteremine where the rush is coming from.
My only concern is Haslett. Will he be good enough to put together a decent 3-4 defensive scheme?
