Re: It Takes Time.............
The problem with this franchise under Snyder is that we the fans are always told "it takes time". This has been especially true on offense. Fire Schottenheimer after one season, bring in Spurrier. That doesn't work out, so go with Gibbs, which I was sure would lead to deep playoff runs. Gibbs' offense not working, then bring in Al Saunders. Compounding all of this, the FO almost never has enough patience to accumulate draft selections to build toward the philosophy du jour, so ownership eventually does a 180 when we're getting close to making strides in the last system. Teams with stability build toward a philosophy through the draft (New England, Philly, New York, Pittsburgh, Indy, Green Bay, Baltimore to name a few) - any wonder why these are consistently winning teams?
Message to Snyder: Your way does not work, and our patience is running thin. If Shanny thinks the 3-4 on D, and Boy Wonder running the WCO are the way to go, then fine. BUT, your FO needs to demonstrate patience by building this thing the right way, instead of tossing away draft picks like confetti.
