The point is the pass rush was directed at McNabb. The Vikes were not worried about the running game, because a running game did not exist. So they were able to focus primarily on McNabb which also closed down the passing game. We were so one dimensional that any defensive coach with half a brain could figure out. Even a rookie HC.
I believe if we had more rush attempts, odds are, the way they were pass rushing, we would have broke at least a few off big. Or at worse, took some pressure off our QB.
