Yep. It's Psychology of Haynesworth 101. The more time goes by, the more this seems like the obviously correct play.
You have a player who can change the fortunes of your entire defense on a team friendly contract. There's no reason to give that away, whether or not it succeeds or fails. We may never get another snap out of Haynesworth again, and it's still the right play.
