The revenues for the NFL have skyrocketed the past 5-10 years. There is no way it can continue that type of revenue. Much like the housing market and anything else, there comes a time and point where you can't get anymore. Sure they'll get increase in revenue, but at some point, it isn't going to be feasible for TV stations to get the rights to broadcast. When you see NFL broadcasting rights expense start outweighing the advertising revenue, then you'll see TV stations backing down on even bidding.
Tapping the internet market has only just begun. As we move towards internet provision of all of our entertainment (which is the current trend), the internet pie will produce pieces which are not on the table today and the pie will grow.
