I wasnt cherry picking,I just went to the yr before shanahan took over.I dont want to get in a pissing match with you over this,I want to get along with everybody,were just not going to agree on this.The defense improved on interceptions,so what? The defense is not any better,if anything its worse.Untill we get a nosetackle than can anchor that line its probably gonna stay that way.For the life of me I can not understand how anyone thinks it was a smart move to switch to the 3-4 without the personel to run it.Good coaches run the schemes that fit their players,not the other way around.
I think if you asked experts around the league you would get a unanamous descision that shanahan is a good coach but terrible at being a GM.To me this was the first of his many bad descisions as GM.{yes I know bruce Allen is the GM but we all know its Mike calling the shots}
Remember the yr Clevelands defense sucked so bad then in the offseason shanahan signed almost their whole defensive line? He cannot be trusted with full control,his ego is bigger then Dallas and I dont see him improving.The team will probably get better despite him with our high draft order
