Like everything else these days even science isn't immune from being politicized. There used to be a day when science was trusted, but now with anti-vaccers, covid-deniers and everything in between nothing is immune from public criticism anymore.

Fauci has been a trusted advisor for the gov't for around 40 years so he must be doing something right. It's only since Trump targeted him to blame has his credibility been questioned. I blame Trump for that.
Great points, also the science research progress takes years and the people wants to get updates on daily basis. Fauci is in impossible position.
