Danny White, Dorsett and Randy White were a few. That was the best coaching job I've ever seen by anyone. Gibbs and Ritchie somehow got these guys to play out of their minds and they carried Gibbs off the field. One of the most memorable Redskin games I've ever seen.
Great game,I have the complete game on dvd, along with about 50 other classic skin games. Also,I have almost every Superbowl on dvd.Bought them on ebay yrs ago before ebay really cracked down on it,you cant buy them on there anymore.

Well you cant live streaming every game. Sometimes you will get the game in a different languege.

Well this doesn't look promising. Do you think it's a power play or is there a real chance of a lockout?

Smoot, what do you hear if anything?

Personally I've had more fun watching hockey and basketball this year then I have football. Not that I ever miss the Redskins play, but for example I'll usually flip between NHL and NBA network before going to the NFL network. In the past I'd usually go straight to the NFL network.

And it's not that watching the Skins is frustrating but football games in general usually last about an hour longer then their counterparts and I feel like I've gotten more enjoyment out of the fast paced sports as opposed to the constant stop and go action of football. Maybe it's just a phase.

My friends keep telling me to follow European Club Football. I've always responded with the fact that I'm already following the NFL, NHL, and NBA closely and don't really have the motivation to follow a fourth sport, especially one thats hard to find games. However with the NBA and NFL all but guaranteed to have lockouts next year I guess I'll have more room on my plate.

Do something more productive on Sundays or rewatch some Montreal Canadiens hockey on my comp.

The NHL isn't the same as it used to be, Heck they don't even show games on TV here.. The NBA is great for me because the Thunder are really good and Durant is one of the top 5 players in the league. I live for the NFL, I argue all the time with college fans but it's simply not close to the Pros. College has too many meaningless games especially the bowl games at the end.

Same can be said about Malcolm Kelly b/c he was on a ticket this year but retained and put on IR.

Yay to fishing.

I haven't heard about the NBA. The NFL and the Redskins is what I live for, it would be hard for me to come back after a year off. Especially, because we've had way to many painful years. The only thing we win is in the off-season and it never translate to the field. I just hope they get it something done our team is old already. A year off won't do us any favors.

There is indeed a real chance of a work stoppage. It might be a lockout; it might be a player strike; there are still way too many gambits open to both sides to predict what will happen when the CBA expires - - I believe it expires on 1 March 2011 but do not hold me to that.

As long as you read stories like this one in the papers or hear about it on SportsCenter, the two sides continue to have their PR staffs working to develop sympathy within the fan base. The union says they will be locked out even though they would gladly play next year under the same terms as this year; the league says the union refuses to sit down and negotiate; the players say their bodies cannot take an 18 game season; the owners say ...blah, blah, blah.

When the talks get serious, both sides will put a muzzle on their PR folks and you will hear NOTHING that sounds like these kinds of stories. So that is your best indicator as to the seriousness of negotiations. And at the moment, there are not any real serious negotiations ongoing.

The NFL generates about $8B a year in revenue; the players collect via salaries and benefits just under $5B in the current CBA.

So, do not believe for even a second that folks on either side of the table here are economically deprived and will have to resort to eating cat food if they do not prevail on every point of contention in these talks.

Just remember, in the end they are arguing over YOUR money - - because if you and other fans stop buying tix and gear and the products advertised on televised games, the new CBA would look very very different than it is going to look with all of YOUR money counted upon.
