So basically, in the year off, you think that MS only looked at two OL coaches, and/or that in the 2 weeks that he has been at work he didn't look at who else might be available that could coach the line the way he wants.
As for the 2nd point, it's not like Foerster was calling BINGO last week. He was an OL coach, looking at film and probably packing for the shrine bowl and senior bowl.
I don't know what style he brings, but if every other coach they brought in fits with what they intend to do, and any intelligent football guy knows that the OL has to be functioning for their offense to go, I think Shanahan understands what he wants in a line coach.
Could I be wrong, sure. In fact the SF website had a full thread bashing this guy-in addition to the one post quoted earlier, so he could be the next Stan Hixon, or the fans could be wrong and it could have been his players. I guess I am not going to get down on a guy who hasn't even unpacked his bags yet.
