Well actually if you read the timeline they put on the journey website, which is in line with the process Jason Wright revealed during the season, I really don't think there's that big of a chance it stays WFT.

They highlighted so many times the fact they gonna value fan input and they wanted to pick a name that last at least a century, I have a hard time going "meeeh we don't feel like rebranding after all...".

Just read the last part of the timeline:

"Finally, we put our game plan into action—by unveiling and launching our new identity for the fans, the players, and the future. This will kick off the next century of Washington Football."
