But yes, more sacks would be great. To me, for some time now, it appears that the whole batting down passes thing is a product of our coaches teaching this technique. It looks like the D-line has some sort of internal clock that they have. They have only a certain amount of seconds to get the qb, and if they don't they are more focused on getting hands up to block passes.

Phillip Daniels was great using this technique.
