When I hear Carter bash the likes of Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson, I just laugh, because he was never as impactful as they are. I challenge anyone to find a clip of Carter taking a 5 yard hitch, and turning it into a 70 yard TD with his speed. He was a great posession receiver, and great on end zone fades, but was not a guy that you had to gameplan against like a Randy Moss, Fitz, or CJ.
Who cares if he caught short TD's? Carter has something like 130 TD's and 13,000 plus yards. He's in real select company. Just cause he's an opinioned dick doesn't mean he should be kept out of the HOF. If you asked the guys that had to cover him they'd probably all say he was a truly great player.
