Not really getting the Ridley visit. Unless he's secretly a great pass blocker I'd rather stick with those already on the team

Report: Center Wisniewski Visits With Redskins

Very interesting...had heard from Keim in the past we werent interested in Wisniewski because Kory L had been fine in the Center position. I wonder if the thought would be guard for Wisniewski? I think he played Guard in college. I wouldnt be opposed to him here...

Sidenote, this happened last week. Funny how information has been very slow getting to the media since McC been here...I think dismissing some of the staff/players has gotten rid of leaks on the team. Keim said in his mailbag last week its been much much harder to get information about draft visits this year than any other time.

I figured Wisniewski would have already signed with someone.

I dont know much about Wisniewski.

I like Lich for what he is, seems like Wisniewski is kinda the same player. can play guard or center and is slightly above average. These are the under the radar, small moves that really help. (assuming Wisn can be what Lich has been for us).

Move Lich back to guard, cut chester, sign Wisn for center?

i couldnt imagine where our O line would have been without Lich last year. He was by far our 2nd best O line guy.

Wisniewski has reportedly visited with numerous teams.

Any thoughts on why he hasn't generated as much interest as he was expecting?

Coming off shoulder surgery and too high an asking price come to mind but seems like someone would have signed him by now.

i figured the raiders were just being the raiders when they didnt re-sign him and signed that other center for something like 40 mil.

like you, I wonder why he hasnt been signed yet as well. i dont know the guy.

found this, which mirrors your concerns about over-pricing:

Former NFL GM Bill Polian is running a free-agency tracker for ESPN. He gave Wisniewski a ‘C’ grade as he hit the open market — the same as mediocre receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, former Seahawks return man Leon Washington and plodding ex-Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas. Polian’s view could be representative of those in the league — he’s just an average player worthy of a very average salary.

What’s going on with Stefen Wisniewski? | Seahawks Draft Blog

^^ i like the way this seahawks blogger writes.

i imagine we wont go over 3 mil or so per, if that. no way i go more than that for an average center. if he really wants 7-8 mil per .... good luck with that.

maybe the guy is JAG?

Re: Redskins 2015 Signings (and Re-Signings) Thread

Well, I guess if we're going to be one of the worst kickoff teams, hopefully we have good coverage units. Hoping to replace Forbath over the next few years to a kicker who can kick it out of the end-zone and be more reliable with the longer kicks.
