Re: rams postgame
Any win is a good game. With that said:
- We had continuing breakdowns on D at critical moments. - On offense, it was almost as if said to himself "I'll show them, I'll run the ball every damn down." Look, I am as firm a believer in the run game as the next old fart. However, after running on 1st down every series of the game, somewhere in the 3rd or 4th, a first down play-action would have been nice. - Our first three trips to the RZ resulted in ONE touchdown. On D, we could not get them off the field consistently. Both sides of the ball kept letting the Rams back into the game. This game did not need to be this close. It should not have come down to the that last TD. And, before you say "they are pros too," I accept that. However, it was our breakdowns that kept them in the game. Against a better team, this would have been a loss. Again, any win is a good game. Further, there was some progress and the team showed good fight. The commitment to the running game was great - let's see if Gruden stays committed. Next week is going to be a much much more difficult test offensively and defensively.
