That record is already out of reach for our lifetimes. Think about the best qb's in the game today that still have enough of a career left to sniff 7, your Mahomes/Allens/Watsons (not including Wilson and Rodgers because they have one title each and I don't see them winning 6 titles in under a decade). Mahomes just lost and the other two haven't even sniffed a title game. It's unrealistic to think any of them could even get closer than 3-4 titles because Brady is the outlier in all of NFL history. What qb has the most rings behind Brady? It's Montana/Bradshaw with 4 each. I could write a short story on this but let's wrap it up. Brady is one title away from doubling up on the next closest guy in the entire 80 year history of the league. He's untouchable.

History has shown though, that even records that seem impossible to break, get broken eventually. But yeah, probably not this one in our lifetimes.

There are a couple of records in sports that seem hard to imagine being broken. Brady’s is one (Ted Williams batting over .400 in a season might be another). Particularly given how hard it is for NFL teams to stay together, it seems incredibly unlikely.

Agreed. Very unlikely.
