Did just pick up McKissic for my fantasy team. Silver linings.

Payne should be good to go, but hope he's not too limited, he's been our best DL IMO, need him healthy.

Re: The Saints come Marching in..

Watching the Giants @ Saints got me more worried than I expected:

-Yeah their Offense has issues, but our D has not shown they could really stop anybody so far. And Taysom Hill can break tackles, which is scary when you remember the 2 TDs we allowed with several missed tackles last week...

-Their D is good. Legit DL, tough to run on, and they bring pressure. As well as they have played, our OL struggled a bit against the Chargers and Bills' Dlines, this will again be a tough test for them.

-The final score doesn't tell you the physionomie of the game, it was 21 to 10 halfway through the 4th and the Giants couldn't really move the ball against the Saints. Then they scored on a blown coverage by Lattimore (and a nice move by Barkley to get it in the endzone)18-21, had a 28 yards gain on a miss tackle by Jenkins, got them to FG range to tie the game. Their game winning drive in OT was nice, but take away a couple of big mistakes late in the game and the Giants couldn't do much against this D.

Hard to predict, but if I have to, I say Saints 27 WFT 20.

I know I am putting a lot on Bostic vs Davis, but I think our defense will stop that type of play. For example on the TD play where Bostic missed the tackle, I am positive Davis would have wrapped the runner up at first contact.

Oh I'm with you on Davis vs Bostic... But Bostic wasn't the only one missing tackles last week ...

Not just last week....I feel like this has been a symptom of our defense for a long time.
So long, in fact, that I expect them to miss tackles consistently.

Maybe not, but I believe others probably tried to compensate for the obvious hole in the defense.

I still don't understand why Bostic was even on the field, ever.

Actually last year's defense was great at wrapping up and tackling.

Re: The Saints come Marching in..

New Orleans run game is legit so Payne, Allen, Holcomb, Davis and Collins need to be ready to dominate the los.

Collins should really be our secret weapon in cleaning up the run, but they have never used him right and when he is in position he can’t consistently deliver

There were different people on the back end of our D last season.

That makes two of us. Bostic was ranked 80th of 81 qualified LB's by PFF this season. His coverage grade was abysmal. Not to knock his effort but he was over the hill.

I hope we go with Hudson today to get more speed on the field.

Wow…it’s disappointing Ron the front office failed to get appropriately help at the LB this offseason. Got Davis but obviously not enough
