My gut says that with Moss, Lloyd, and El as locks in the WR position, there are really only 3 or 4 guys battling for a 4th and maybe 5th WR spot. Patten, Thrash, Farris, and Espy are all legit.

Thrash is definitely on the team because of his special teams play. I would give the nod to Patten over Espy because of the contract and Patten is more of a proven commodity. Farris hurt himself by dropping the T.D.
