All this guy has done is played pretty good football whenever given the chance. Considering the amount of bad QBs (like Joey Harrington) who keep getting their chances, I'd say this is a pretty important issue.

At this point in Rattay's career if he was such a hidden gem I find it hard to believe that nobody would have picked up on it.
He is what he is. A career backup who's had some decent games here and there (but so has a guy like Joey Harrington), but he's certainly nothing to write home about especially in the circumstance that he's in right now being forced into starting duty after a week with the team.
