You have Fabini, Rinehart, Davis and James not active while Tyron, Jackson, Fincher, and Brennan are in. That doesn't make any sense. Then he doesn't play argubly his best player on the team because he hasn't practiced and he forgot about him?

Lastly I listened to the Raven's defensive players in the post game and Reed stated that they had figured out their offense... how can that happen with a first year coach? I think Zorn is seriously overwhelmed and his coaching like a rookie player has hit a wall... what do you think?
I think we are getting outcoached as well. I do think though that this is not in any way a direct result of what Jim Zorn is doing. It may be a result of what Jim Zorn is NOT doing.

Zorn is sort of a bizarre character, and there's some decisions he makes where it's hard to follow exactly what he is trying to accomplish, but I think he's a good coach.

Now, just because the head coach is doing a good job DOES NOT MEAN we aren't getting outcoached. I think Blache (Baltimore game not withstanding) was really being outcoached in the prior five games. I don't think any of the offensive assistants have earned their pay whatsoever, maybe Stump Mitchell. I mean, you look at the places where we've seen player development on the offense...it's all been in the offensive backfield. And that's Zorn and Mitchell. I'm NOT blaming any one coach, but saying that Zorn might want to be more clear with what he is expecting from his assistants.

Re: the blocking schemes, only Baltimore and Pittsburgh have really broken down our schemes. They just so happen to be the two best defenses in the NFL. Probably not a coincidence. Being outcoached does not always imply bad coaching.
