My preference is move down and get more picks, but at #10 I'm perfectly fine with him
You take him over AJ Green or Prince at 10?

Re: Robert Quinn: Boom or Bust?

I'd rather nab Cam Jordan or JJ Watt.

But if the powers that be think that Quinn is our guy, I will not complain at all.

I have a feeling that at least one of those two guys will be available for a song in 2 or 3 years. Sort of like Cariker.

Cam Jordan appears to be a solid, high-character, good work ethic player. There are no sure things, of course, but one reason why I've beaten his drum is that he seems like one of the safer picks.

Put differently: good defenses begin up front. However, our defense is weakest up front and not just at NT. From this, the math seems simple: use the 10 pick up front.

Still if you're going to use a top 10 pick on a 3-4 defensive end you have to be thinking that the player you pick will be on the same level as Richard Seymour in his prime. Either would be a safe pick but I feel like we already have good depth at defensive end and neither player represents that much of an upgrade to pass up on an upgrade elsewhere, like OLB, NT, or QB.

Also if we really wanted to go DE we could easily wait for the second round and get a Cameron Heyward or Allen Bailey. Maybe even have a player like Adrian Clayborne fall to us. I think all three are comparable to Jordan and Watt.

Yeah. The more I see of Prince, I probably even take Jimmy Smith over him if not for his character concerns. don't get me wrong, I think Prince is solid but maybe not at 10.

And I'm never really too keen on going WR high.
