I think we can find a starting NT that can play both sides....on offense....QB. Heck....maybe we could finally motivate Haynesworth to play NT if we gave him the keys to play QB too...he may just win the job, considering the competition.

I wish there wasn't going to be that cap floor of cash that has to be spent. I'd like to really not sign any mid to big name free agents. I want to build a family type team like the steelers always seem to have. Let Barnes start at CB opposite of Hall. Start Perry Riley next to Fletcher at ILB. Resign Brown at RT if possible if not let Selvish Capers start at RT. Between Lichtensteiger, Cook, Hurt, Hicks, and Montgomery come up with your combination for LG, C, RG. Bye bye Rabach, he gets dominated too much. Resign Santana Moss. Armstrong, Hankerson, Moss as our top 3 receivers. Henson and Alexander as back up LB's. Resign Buchannon for nickel back. I want to keep players and let them gel, Skins just sign then cut then sign then cut, I want to build tons of team chemistry. Thats one of the reasons I LOVE the KERRIGAN pick. He is good, has a HIGH MOTOR, and will be a LEADER. Him and Rack Daddy are gonna be awesome pass rush team. Carriker, Bryant, Jenkins the starters on the front line. Keep Vonnie Holiday. Daniels if there is room on the roster to keep him. Redskins playoff bound in 2011. I have a good feeling about Beck. Lets give him a chance, if it doesnt work out the QB class is DEEP this coming draft. Last edited by sdskinsfan2001; 07-23-2011 at 05:14 PM. |

I agree. We have to have outside upgrades to the interior line. Just because we sign a FA does not mean it has to be an old, on the down hill vet who doesn't meet his contract size. Cerrato ain't heer no mo. I think we have an intelligent enough coaching staff that if they go get someone, they will hopefully be young enough to contribute to this team for a lot more than a Jason Taylor length tenure.

I thought Barnes did some good things last year, even if you don't agree you gotta give him a full seasons worth of chances. What do we do sign Nhamdi and watch another high price free agent do nothing to make us better. We were 6 and 10 last year, we are not going to win the Super Bowl this season, might has well let all of our current draft picks and young players play and see what we have. Get rid of Rabach and start Lichentsteiger, Montgomery, Hicks/Hurt on the inside or some order like that and resign Brown and see what kind of offense we can build. As a franchise and as fans we are never willing to BUILD its always buy buy buy must win now must win now and it never works out.

Kinda goes the other way around to me. If Rak and Kerrigan are getting after the QB it makes the DBs jobs that much easier.

our OL is TERRIBLE, hicks and brown i don't have a real problem with, but our depth over the last few years, the sacks surrendered... i mean, it'd be hard to get a lot worse than what we've had the last two years, so i'm not interested in seeing rabach and heyer mess it up again. and i don't think the talent beneath them is really any better. if we resign our guys from last year, we still need a LEAST 1 OL and a NT (and a QB) to have a shot at improving.

sometimes last year we had problems giving the fronts 3 seconds of coverage... i agree a good pass rush makes the DBs lives easier, but rakpo hasn't mastered teleportation yet, so he still needs some time.

Some supposed info on Vince Young. If we get him it will happen fast according to this. Titans will have to unload Vince Young in a hurry

Good info on VY...several people who would know are starting to speculate him to Miami. Not sure I agree, though.

Seriously doubt this happens. Totally hope it doesn't. But I'm just going to put this out there because inevitably someone will come across it Report: Eagles interested in Favre | Philadelphia Inquirer | 07/23/2011
