Jay should have been pulled before he hurt his ankle anyway, as him and Collins were throwing at their receivers feet most of the day. Hanie threw nice crisp strikes that were right in the numbers. Not so sure why Cutler was lowballing his receivers most of the time he was in there. I think Lovie needs to work out Hanie more and give him a shot. He responded well to the situation he was put in, even with the two INTs, he still fought. Collins needs to be released.

I don't doubt playing sports with Type I Diabetes is tough. Believe me, I know all about the disease almost at first hand. But, I think Madden kind of deferred the argument off course a bit.

Stick to proving one principle, which is whether a player is tough enough. It's obvious you're trying to making Madden's statement "irrelevant" with respect to the principle of player toughness.
