Various reports are now saying Leinart is going to Seattle. Jackson, Leinart, and Whitehurst in Seattle? Doesn't seem quite right. Never has the statement "when you have three quarterbacks, you have none" rung more true

Please, everyone knows who's going to win that battle.

Of course, the status quo for quarterbacks has been to give up a bazillion draft picks and dollars for the right to have the opportunity to commit the same error again at a later point.

They just need NFC West level competency out of that group. If they end up being the 2010 Cardinals at that position, then they've failed. If they end up being the 2008 Bears, then they're going to win their division again.

It's the Seattle Trojans, circa 2003!

Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread

I look at it this way, we still need a #1 WR. Someone who is the go to guy. Someone proven would be nice and hope the rookies step up. We don't know what we have in the new guys.... they could turn out to be like Thomas and Kelly for all we know, and speaking of Kelly they might not be wanting put their eggs all in one basket.

They resigned Moss so all he does right now is fill his own spot. so if we pick up another WR then yes someone will have to go who's on the active roster not the two PS WR's from last year, but an actual active spot. Maybe Austin gets cut, maybe Banks if they find someone else who can KR/PR.

I too would rather have too many and be worrying about who to keep vs. starting the season hoping someone steps up and they don't.

Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread

11:45 a.m.—Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network reports that before the lockout, Ravens offensive lineman Marshall Yanda rejected a contract offer from the Ravens that was worth $6.5 million a year (report through Rotoworld).

LaCanfora previously reported that the Redskins are interested in Yanda, who can play either guard or tackle. If they do indeed want to bring Yanda on board, the Redskins now know where the bidding for his services starts.
