he'll probably be pretty good, but i'd argue calvin johnson for best player. quinn is right up there though. |

Theismann was the best qb in the last 20 yrs. If we had joe our record would be a whole lot better.

Re: Should the Redskins make a run at Brady Quinn?
i may be wrong. but, i thought in the trade for duckett we have to trade our first round pick to denver since we will have a worse record. i'd rather see campell play before thinking about drafting another quarterback anyway.

Re: Should the Redskins make a run at Brady Quinn?
Unless we come back to make the playoffs, we will be keeping our first rounder. If we both make the playoffs, but they have a better record, we would exchange picks and keep our third rounder. If not, we give them our third for Duckett. Personally, I would like to see us make the playoffs and swap first rounders with Denver because it means we could keep our third rounder.

Re: Should the Redskins make a run at Brady Quinn?
we can only swap if the value difference in first round picks does not exceed the value of a 3rd round pick (ie if we had #21 and they had #28, we could swap, but not from #10 to #26 or something like that).

You know things are going south when you're talking draft in October. For my 2 cents I say we get Alan Branch from Michigan, he's a beast.

either way i'd rather see campell play before we start thinking about drafting another quarterback. thanks for clearing up the trade thing.

AND, to answer the question, no. We've given up most of our draft picks and to move into a round low enough to get him (even if we wanted to) we'd basically have to trade half our team and like all our picks forever.

i think quinn pitcock is rated higher than him (if branch declares). pitcock is fast, branch is huge.
