Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason

Bit random, but wanted to let you guys know about a French youtuber, he's been making US sports videos (mainly NFL and NBA) for a while now, he played football a little bit and was making inside the locker rooms type of content.
He started making videos in English with the goal of getting a video related job with the NFL/a company working for the NFL.

I think he's really good at making condensed "a look around the NFL" videos, as a Washington fan I always valued being able to catch up to others teams' off season before the season starts.

Maybe some of you will enjoy, I always like his videos, to go along with all the WFT focused podcasts:

All you need to know before the season starts

I can't imagine living in France and giving a shit about US football. It be equal to me giving a shit about anything to do with soccer.

Yeah he's the only European I've ever even known that really likes US Football and my mom is from Germany so I've met her family as well..

Germany actually has a pretty decent level championship, but yeah it's definitely still very confidential.
All the people I met who liked Football, I did through playing/refing the game, or going to a bar which shows NFL games, or through my cousin who introduced me to this game (after living in NY for a while)... Like I don't think I've ever randomly met someone and went "wait, you like US Football too?!".
Every once and a while a young guy we'll have seen the SB on TV and usually says "was entertaining, didn't understand much, but yeah it'll be nice if you can introduce me to the basic rules".

Millions of Americans love to watch soccer, one of my staff is absolutely nuts about soccer and will wear soccer jersey every time her team plays.

I'm in the minority out there, but I find soccer to be so boring. Haven't watch a game in decades. During the world cup I'll go to friends' place and turn into the housewife "you guys want a couple of beers ? Pizza is ready!" cuz I can not watch that shit more than 3 minutes without falling asleep. NFL preseason is more entertaining to me.

Thought he might've collected a ring with the Hawks but he was drafted in 2014.

Guess he's good now since he got paid.

Last career stats - the Seahawks resigned him in Aug 2020 and cut him 5 days later at the end of preseason.

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason

Former Redskin, David Patten, and an associate of mine (I'd known him since I was 12 years old and he was 11), tragically passed away yesterday in a motorcycle accident. RIP, my brother.....
