Redskins Radio: Blasphemy
On TripleX ESPN Radio right now, on the second day of Redskins training camp, the official radio station of the Washington Redskins is airing an ESPN radio broadcast that is being broadcast from Dallas Cowboys training camp.
Obviously the station is an ESPN affiliate so they naturally broadcast lots of standard ESPN Radio programming...but come on! It's day two of Redskins training camp! There just seems like there is something wrong with turning on the official Redskins radio station and hearing two nonsense announcers riding the jock of the Dallas Cowboys and (even worse) their fans. |

Re: Redskins Radio: Blasphemy
Yea....I was kinda wondering the same thing. I can see the affiliates in Dallas listening to cowboys new but here in Washington we should be listening to Redskins announcers talking about what they saw yesterday and what should be happening today. Especially for those who do not have internet or are on the road. I also was supprised that there was not alot of news about the Skins. I found more on another web site. Channel 4 news did a small bit but other then that I must have missed the news rush. I kept going to Comcast thinking they would have news of the day but they kept talking about Vick and the Oriols inducties into the Baseball Hall of fame. Vick is getting old unless there is more info about his charges and I'm not heavily into baseball.

Re: Redskins Radio: Blasphemy
I agree for the most part. I wouldn't mind it if it was coverage of dallas for the sake of letting skins fans know what the enemy is up to, if TO is whining already, etc. , but it doesn't sound like that from what's posted here.

Re: Redskins Radio: Blasphemy
It's business. Also remember, the 2nd largest concentration of Dallas fans is in the Washington DC area (and vice versa)
