Brother I'm with you. I told myself I was not going to any message boards. Yet here I am. I'm just soo pissed I'm not sure if I should be only looking at the positives, which really there were hardly any, or slam every one, which would do no good.

Some of my issue's:
1- The team came out flat. Clearly the Eagles came pumped, excited and ready to play. The Redskins not so much. Very lackadaisical. Pathetic.

2- Maybe it's just me but I could have sworn I saw the Eagles holding on the OL if not every play it was almost every other play. Yet the Refs never called any holding calls. To be fair though I saw the Skins holding some also with no calls, but come on At least call the flagrant ones in which the Eagle grabbed the jersey or pulled our player to the ground to keep him from getting to Vick.

3- Part B of #2 is I don't think I've ever seen a game so one sided. I know some if not most of it was our players performance but to me it seemed like a WWF match up and the winner was already predetermined. I know it's difficult to spot a team 21 or 28 points and expect to come back from that but "EVERY" call seemed to go the Eagles way. Avante's catch on the sideline; the ball slips through his hands hits him in the chest slides to his stomach as he's hitting the white chalk line. If the ball is moving it's not a catch. No it's 1st down for them. 1st play of the game Orakpo gets held, the OL is holding his jersey pulling him almost turning him completely around so he can't get to Vick. Whoever #64 was for us (Kedric Golston) was being held by the LT whenever he tried to run around the LT.

AH was getting a good push on the Center, atleast 3-5 yrds, but the RG would help chip AH and AH would look like a weeble wobble but would fall down. Cant' Haslett adjust and send in a LB right after AH gets his initial push to bump the RG prior to the RG chipping AH?

Why did it take us being down 28 points before Haslett decided to change things up and go to the same defense we used with Indy?

Would the ESPN Mon. Night Crew be on McNabbs jock just as much as they were with Vick if the Skins were up 21-0? I had to turn my TV on mute several times and or change the channel cause I got tired of all the Eagles replays and the suck fest for Vick.

I could go on and on but I'd just sound like a poor sport. In the end the Skins played horrid. No excitement. I think the Eagles figured out quick enough get ahead early cause if not the Skins will come back. The Skins gave too much of a lead and couldn't come back.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

You usually don't get really good draft picks from trading veterans, even if they're good performers. The only time I've seen knockout draft picks offered were for "franchise" qb's (Chicago was obviously on one).

The teams that stockpile picks usually do so during the draft. If there's a player that slips that another team really wants, you sacrifice short-term for future gain. If the scouting department has done its job, there should be three or four players you're willing to draft if the others are taken- meaning, trade back if you can. Trade current picks for more picks down the road.

Unfortunately, we're almost at a point where we'll need every pick we have during the upcoming drafts. I just hope BA is saavy enough to get it done- is the fanbase amenable to doing it the right way, even if it means having 3 or 4 win seasons for the next few years?

Problem is, we're headed for 3-4 win seasons and still not doing it the right way.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

We don't suck. We had our ass kicked by A good team with the best QB in the NFL playing LIGHTS OUT.

Stop acting like you got your Barbie doll snatch away. 7 games left. We got our ASS kicked 2night.

Shit happens...not that bad,but it happens. Lets just hope that it does'nt happen again.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

Here's an interesting question. Who will make the playoffs first? The Wizards who are emphasizing building through the draft or the Redskins who continue to take a win now approach to the offseason.

Re: LOL @ Redskins

Last time I checked it still only counts as 1 loss whether you lose by 1 or by 50 points. And i'm pretty sure the Eagles only get 1 win out of the deal as well.

But now you have a team that's loosing faith in the system, lacking self confidence, and game film that lays out a blueprint for how to simply manhandle our defense.

I would agree about the losing self confidence part. But few teams even have the personnel to do what the Eagles did last night. They could do nothing wrong right after they returner dropped the opening kickoff.

In 99% of the cases you are correct. However, point differential is one of the deep tiebreakers in the NFL system so a loss by 50 could theoretically be worse than a loss by 1 point...

Carry on...

Re: LOL @ Redskins

There is no way in hell this team goes to the playoffs this year. We are not 1 or 2 players away from a playoff season. We need to build through the draft and badly overhaul this team. Sadly, it could take a few seasons, but we need to get younger and faster.
