I mean the 2nd round pick - we don't have one. How do you suggest we obtain one?

We'll likely get a mid-to-high second rounder for Smoot plus an extra 3rd rounder for Gardner (which could be dealt along with our current 3rd rounder for a 2nd rounder).

Let's see, we spent a 1st rounder on Gardner, a 1st rounder on Coles, a 2nd rounder on Jacobs, and two fifth round picks for McCants and Thrash. Why are we spending another high pick on a 1st round wideout? Desmond Howard Part Deux anyone?

Mike Williams doesn't need blazing speed to be effective...he's 6'5", while there are almost no CBs over 6 foot. if he develops, he's be successful ala Randy Moss, just toss it up for grabs...
that's a big IF though...is it worth a 1st rounder?

Perhaps because Westbrook isn't on our roster?

Daseal, Sorry for the late reply... We get a second rounder for Gardener. (I was hoping you'd get my words oozing with faceciousness, but it's all good.)

No. Monk was drafted during the Pardee tenure. And I believe it was Betherd who drafted him but I am not positive of that. |

I still can't figure out how the Eagles got a second rounder for AJ Feeley...I'm guessing Ricky "Smokey" Williams was acting as GM for the Fins at that time
