Either make it all open, or just close it off entirely which will be fine with me.
No offense, but you still continue with your "just because" reasoning. In the end, all of the combine information is important for the teams to know and no one else. I believe if the NFL was a public company or funded by public money, then you could argue your "just because" reasoning, although even then I believe that are guidelines under the Freed of Information Act on what information can be made available to the public.

Then close off the combine to only teams and participants. Problem solved. I have 0 problem with that.

Very good article on Phillip Thomas the FS from Syracuse...(I'm gonna bet Phillip Thomas will be a Washington Redskin when the draft ends)

Will Syracuse Saftey Phillip Thomas join the Redskins? « BMITCHLIVE

Absolutely... I wouldn't draft him with our 3rd rounder (B. Massie or Schwartz ), but if he's still available at #102, we should draft him... We could have 2 potential Wk. 1 starters in Massie/Schwartz and Thomas, and they both fill needs (RT, FS)

Thomas is decent, I think he had some problems at Syracuse ala Mike Williams...but I think he is a 5th-6th round guy and we should have several opportunities to snag him. He would play free safety which is very much a need.

Yeah hopefully his problems are behind him blame it on the youth. Would be a nice late 4th to 6th rd pick IMO.

Talkin about Phillip Thomas this article shows why he want to be a Redskin. Sean Taylor had a huge impact on this kid and therefore I believe he will run through a wall for this team!!

I haven't been able to fully confirm this, but since NC wants to know...Luck got a 41 on his Wonderlic and Griffin got a 44.

I still have to wonder why the NFL uses the damn Wonderlic. It's a very dated test, and not the best tool for the job. I do psychological testing for a living, and I can tell you that there are many more accurate and brief tests available, including the KBIT. As a Master's level clinician, I can do the testing, scoring and reporting in less than 2 hours total. You could also include some aptitude testing like CAPS that will hit anything relavent that KBIT doesn't.

we need safety help bad. i have never seen much of this guy, but its hard not to love his attitude. If hes up to par on the field, i would love to give him a look at being a redskin and from the sounds of it he would too and not to mention he looks up too the best guy he could for the job, seanT.

These are the types of moves I hope we make in the draft. Since it's such a weak safety market, hopefully we'll have our pick of all but the very top prospect.
