now now, just because a player is released don't assume them to be "garbage?" In the cap era especially, there've been quite a no. of released players that go on to start elsewhere. Was Stephen Davis "garbage" when we cut him?
I'm all for developing some draft picks & youth, but if you can add a few vet players to compete for spots in camp at a reasonable price, why not? e.g, Shelton might be a nice upgrade over Wade. |
