That's about 99.9999999989% of the board who wanted him out.

I was one of them calling for his head when he asked for the trade because he spit on all our faces. With that said I've always wanted AH playing for us, he is so much of an disruptive player on the field that you want an animal like that playing for your team.

Question for you jack if D.Ware acted out like this would you want him on your team?

brandon marshall started playing nice and it got him traded. Jason Taylor started playing nice and he was traded as well. Teams may not be very interested in Haynesworth now, but a training camp injury can change everything. If, for example, Suh suffered a season-ending injury sometime in the next couple of weeks, Detroits interest in acquiring him could change. The same goes for every other 4-3 defensive team in the league.

Both sides need to play nice if he were to be traded period. Haynesworth needs to show up, show that he can dominate, and that he wronged all his faults from last season. The team needs to show that they are working with him and that they are not desperate to get rid of him. Otherwise, we end up on the losing side of a trade.

That being said, it is best for everyone if he comes, gets up to speed, and becomes the dominant player he was in the past. Both Shanahan and Haslett are pretty much saying that they want him to buy in to what they are doing defensively and it is up to him to do so.

As far as Shanahan's comment of "we'll see" when asked if Haynesworth will be on the team...well here's the whole quote:

Quote:
Asked if Haynesworth would be a part of the team in 2010, Shanahan replied: “We’ll see. We’re going to give him every opportunity to show us what he can do. Hopefully he’ll like the position that we play him in and he’ll give us everything he’s got.”
The ball is in Haynesworth court and he needs to produce period.

Re: The new and improved Haynesworth thread

I for one supported AH I was not happy but the practices(can't remember the official name) were not mandatory, but when he missed the OTA's I got upset. All is forgiven if he plays like a BEAST.

Haynesworth to start camp as backup

ASHBURN, Va. -- Albert Haynesworth finally showed up for work -- and quickly learned the Washington Redskins won't be cutting him any slack.

On the eve of the first day of training camp, Haynesworth ended his months-long boycott of the team by meeting Wednesday morning with coach Mike Shanahan. Hardly sympathetic to the plight of a player who recently received a $21 million bonus, the coach wasn't about to let bygones by bygones.

Shanahan said Haynesworth must pass a conditioning test in order to practice. And, assuming the test is passed, the two-time All-Pro defensive lineman with the $100 million contract won't be practicing with the starting unit, at least not right away.
Gotta love Shannys approach on this one.

Well, at least camp is just about here so they can get to practicing and shut up about all the rest of the BS.

Re: The new and improved Haynesworth thread

I'm already tired of this story and it's just starting lol. If he comes in, shows he's in great shape and stops the bitching, and everything works out and he is dominant for us, then great. If he gets traded and we get something nice, then great. Either way for now it looks like the tension is about to get cleared and hopefully things will settle down once he comes in and handles his business.

Re: The new and improved Haynesworth thread

I think that once people start seeing everyone out there the Haynesworth thing will slowly disappear unless he just isn't fitting in

Re: The new and improved Haynesworth thread

IF he is in the condition being suggested and a weight loss of 40+ pounds. I don't see him playing much at the nose. To tall, and honestly would probably be wasted. He should be able to....move....well. I think they put him at end (which is not an original contrivance on my part) and watch him terrorize all concerned? AND that would likely appease Big as well with the opportunity to chase the QB all over the field?
HTTR.....TG training camp is here!

I think Shanny's threat to put him at Nose made him lose all those pounds and I still think it was all Shanny's master plan (He is the ultimate motivator) now we all wont have to worry about him flopping on the ground because he is out of breath. Hail to to the Shan Man!

Re: The new and improved Haynesworth thread

I'm not saying the Redskins didn't say he would play NT but they also said LB & DB where ever he would fit best, I think the media made more out of it than anyone when they found out that's the one position he didn't like they kept saying it over & over again. IMO.

Re: The new and improved Haynesworth thread

hanyesworth is what he is a spoiled little baby. things can go two ways once the season starts he can play lights out and keep shanny happy and for the most part all will be forgiven. or two he could suck ass and his face could end up on a mobile sign, after a little bit of clever campaigning that is.

seriously though i hope after today he realizes that he had no idea what was going on and feels like a jackass and comes in motivated. i'd say theres a 50/50 chance of that happening, but heres to hoping for the best.

and for the record i still think and always will think he is a worthless pos of a person, but we all know results on the feild can let you get away with murder, just ask ray ray.
