Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach
This is.... I mean, WTF is going on??? How is any of this defensible?? First we hire Zorn as an OC, which is fine, even though he's never been anything but a positions coach. Then we dance around the Fassel thing for a few weeks, blow him off for a bit to mess with Spags, Spags says thanks but no thanks... Then we hire this Palermo guy to coach the D line just b/c he's Vinny's boy and ignore the fact he's never even had a cup of coffee in the NFL, then out of nowhere Zorn becomes HC??
We're a mess. No question. The rest of the league is laughing at us. I don't know if I've ever seen a coaching search handled more poorly than this. Now who's gonna be OC? Did Fassel just decide he doesn't want to be a part of this circus and tell day to go F himself?? As much as we wanted to think Snyder and Vinny were being thorough a deliberate, it's again becomes glaringly obvious these guys are in left field. Go ahead and bash me for being negative and impatient. Fine. Has Danny given ever given me a reason not to be? This is bad. And Zorn may well end up being a good coach.Andy Reid was in the same kind of mold when he came to Philly. It's not so much the candidate that bothers me, it was the process. Vinny and Danny are joke. A friggin joke. Who's gonna be the OC????

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach
Wow! This came wayyyyy out of left field, I didn't see this happening at all. I like the move though, everyone who's ever had any contact with him has expressed what a great man he is, and I think he'll be a good players coach, he'll be able to motivate them pretty good from what I've heard. We'll see if he's the right man for the job but I hope he is.

Ladies and gentlemen, your mystery candidate.. SPLASH!!
Seriously, I'm good with it.. I wanted an offensive coach to take JC to the next level.

I'm comfortably numb
Seriously though, I have mixed feelings too. It's a gamble I'm not sure I would have taken. This is going to require patience which I don't know how much Snyder has and I know Redskins fans have very, very little

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach
The guy is a pretty creative offensive mind, has been a pretty good QB as a player. He won't disappoint, I put him in the Garrett mold.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach
This has to be the quickest promotion from OC to Head Coach in the history of the NFL.......hope Jim got a huge pay raise.......seems Fassel or whoever was left said "FU Danny Boy.."....if I'm the coach, I pick the OC and DC...not you!......hope it all works...wonder if now Jim will higher a new OC or he will be the OC also.....can't wait for the news conference.....I can see Dannyboy getting jittery and defensive on this coaching process...

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach
Hmm, speechless. So is Zorn going to be the head coach and offensive coordinator? Is he going to be calling plays?
