Once again, I'm amazed at how people are easily dismissing the rebuilding of the offensive line. Not that picking up a first or second rounder is the ONLY way to do it, but you make it sound like we have the Jets offensive line and don't need to spend much resources on it.

i'm not dismissing the fact that the o-line needs major improvement, nor am i suggesting the skins need not use many resources in fixind it. all i'm saying is there are other ways to do it outside of using one of our 1st two picks. once again though, for the record, i am NOT OPPOSED to drafting an o-lineman with a 1st or 2nd round draft pick.

Jerry Hughes the OLB/DE from TCU would be a great complement to Orakpo in the 3-4 as the other OLB

They really need to start providing shirts to people from Alabama. Two years in a row now.

Damn. It was strongly suggested, supposedly, to McCoy that he lose weight following the Senior Bowl. Doesn't look like he did. And if he did...Damn!!

yep, I mentioned this earlier

I understand at over 300 you're not going to be chiseled, but that's just sloppy

I wouldn't put my bucks on that kid since he won't even try to improve his draft stock.. if there's any motivation out there it's to get drafted high, you can't tell me it will get higher once he gets drafted

I know it should have a NSFW warning attached to the original post.

Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D

Ive been looking @ real late round RB's and examining tape and i think we should grab Stafon Johnson with the 6th or 7th round pick. And if hes undrafted DEFINATELY bring him in to camp. An ideal backfield would be Portis (with the good kind of chip on his shoulder) and Stafon Johnson being the bigger backs sharing the workload and sprinkling in a good amount of Anthony Alridge as a change of pace.

Re: Prospects for Shanahans offense/Hasletts 3-4 D

regarding o-line prospects.. I know and hope we get plenty of o-line help via the draft but I think we need to get atleast 1-2 starters out of the draft class. In the meanwhile Center Casey Wiegmann of the broncos just got cut (official on Wednesday)...He is in no way the answer but is well versed in zone blocking...Shanny knows him and we can get rid of The hold happy Rabach . What do you think of this!!!!
It would be one less draft pick that needs to go O-line as we have other needs...none greater than o-line!!!

I hope Dirtbag359 is joking, because Hampton will be franchised and Wilfork is franchised and they all play NT which won't work.
