Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread

I am concerned that even if we get a QB in next years draft will he be able to make it here? This is not the place for a young QB cause he will probably have multiple coaches, coordinators- it will be Jason Campbell all over again. That is my biggest concern. We don't have Sean McVay or a coach who he can grow with.

I would decline the invitation if I were drafted by this team. Literally wouldn’t walk out for the photo op. If I knew they were taking me beforehand I would let all partys know that I was not interested. You have to be an idiot or completely off everyone elses radar to play for this team. When you combine ownership with winning there is no worse organization in the league.

Absolutely. Well as far as Wins and losses. I dont know anything about their owner. I’d be willing to bet our organization is more toxic.

Oh great avatar. Me and you might have teams in the super bowl after all! Lol

Well we are on a collision course with a top 5 pick and I do not believe there is a quarterback that anyone has going that high. Im going to go with in over his head on the non HC stuff (and the HC stuff).

It depends. If this coaching staff continues, then you can have this coaching staff pick their QB. I mean honestly, when was the last time Snyder let his coach pick a QB? That has never happened in the Snyder era.

Forget quarterback what about a cant miss pass rusher with all the tools.
This staff is simply not getting it done. At all.

So my question is why the f would we waste a 1st round pick to get a likely back-up level QB? (Better to stock future picks for when the draft has a good QB class).

Problem is that there isn't a clear franchise or even 1st round quality QB that will be in the 2022 draft. I've read that if Kyle Trask or Mills would have been in the 2022 draft they'd be ranked higher than any QB being tracked for the 2022 draft (and neither of those two were drafted in the 1st round).

Mentioned this in another thread yesterday. Dude from ole miss is the only one that looks like he might shoot up the boards at this point. Gonna have to wait and see where we fall and find out more about him. Trying to remember his name without googling but i cant.

Pickett is definitely one of the best if not the best Qb in the country. He looks like an NFL QB.

QB I’ve liked is Desmond Ridder from Cincy.

I've been keeping my eye on him too. I liked him last year before he decided to stay in school for another year.
