to be fair had we not taken Haskins we would have taken Sweat at 15 and had the 2nd rounder that we gave up to the Colts

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Re: The Chase Young Effect (Appreciation thread)

You are so right. Chase Young has taken the lights off the Haskins disaster, as well as the Snyder investigation.

Even bigger will be that point in the future when fans can come back to see the team. Chase Young will draw the fans who left because of 20 years of mediocrity. He will bring back the fans who left because of Snyder.

Next season the WFT will hopefully have Chase Young, a new team NAME, a new franchise QB and finally, we might have a new owner. But in the beginning they will come to see Chase Young!!!!

Re: The Chase Young Effect (Appreciation thread)

Phil Simms was good not great. But they had LT. Chase Young is a piece that can take some pressure off the QB to be the next Patrick Mahomes. He was the right pick then and still is the right pick now.

We probably could have drafted Sweat at 15 and kept the 2nd rounder if we didn't have Napoleon.

The video of CY talking up Heinike during the game is priceless. Love this kid. And man he plays with an abandon that is so rare - LT, Sean, and only a few other guys really have it.

As thrilled as I am that he is on our team, i am equally thrilled he is not on the NYG team.

This is why I'm not upset about Philly pulling guys and pulling Hurts last. Like any of them are going to remember week 17 last year if they draft a difference maker in the first next year who helps them win more games.

Re: The Chase Young Effect (Appreciation thread)

Agree with Young defensive ROY...lock

Who is the offensive ROY?

My guy is WR Justin Jefferson, but Herbert been impressive. James Robinson and Taylor were a couple RB putting up big numbers too. but neither have been as wow as Herbert or Jefferson

So glad the Eagles didn’t get Jefferson, they chose WR Reagor instead of Jefferson the pick before. Congratulations, you played yourself
