Re: Offense Sucks/Turner Sucks/Refs Suck Post-Game Thread
For MLB games, you can look up an umpire scorecard for each game to see if the umps favored one team or another. Ex)
Not sure if someone does this for NFL games, but I haven't seen it. Sure would be cool if they did.

Ron definitely looking bad with the Scott Turner over Kevin O'Connell move - O'Connell just lead the greatest comeback in NFL history on Saturday and Turner is running Curtis Samuel up the middle on 3rd down lol.

Main difference is they have a legit QB, something Turner hasn't had the luxury of having here.

This is true but Ron has filled the position with stopgaps since Haskins left - he is as much to blame here as Scott Turner.

And we'll be back in the QB hunt again this offseason, still haven't managed to replace Kurt. Thanks Bruce.

- Re-sign Heinicke to be the backup - Draft a QB somewhere in the mid to back-half of the draft (he can be inactive on gamedays) - Through FA or the Draft, add at least 2 tackles, a G, and a C that could play G in a pinch That would be my preference for the off-season/2023.

It was Wentz or Mayfield or Trubisky for us. Kinda fortunate Stafford and Wilson didnt want to come here. ------------ Until we solve the QB puzzle, we will forever be a .500 ish at best team. ---- I think Carr could be a realistic option and I think hed allow us to run a full playbook. Hes not a top 10 QB but hes "functional"

That being said, the Giants showed a blueprint of how to win a game with a limited passing game. In the 98-yard drive where they score in the first half, Jones dinked and dunked his way to the end zone. I don't understand how or why this is not our plan. All we need is a QB to make short passes and prevent turnovers, while we run the hell out of the ball. Heinecke, Wentz, and Scott Turner can't get that through their thick heads.

3-7 in the first half
Giants pinned to their 3 yd line. Giants reel off an 18 play, 97 yard TD drive that ate up 8:35 mins

102 yard td drive - they had to overcome a 5 yard penalty en route. Truly a masterpiece in back-breaking.

And a 4th and 9 conversion on that drive.

Re: Offense Sucks/Turner Sucks/Refs Suck Post-Game Thread
I think they've been pretty good this year on 3rd down conversions, but that brought up horrible memories of years past never being able to get off of the field. Just no respect for our team, and they were right, it worked easily.

Re: Offense Sucks/Turner Sucks/Refs Suck Post-Game Thread
Hats of to Daboll. Looking at the situation, up 7-3 headed into two minute drill and getting the ball back to start the third. The safe play is punt knowing you are likely keeping the lead. The Giants have played pretty conservatively all season. You were going to have to beat them they weren't going to beat themselves. The way I see it a high risk move like 4th and 9 at the 35 couldn't have been that risky, they saw something they knew they could exploit.
