To me it's the same thing whether you rest starters or pull them in game. In both cases neither Pitt or Philly had anything to play for so they can both do whatever they want.

I'm not down on the Eagles for resting their banged up players, but J Hurts wasn't banged up. Sudfeld was a significant drop-off in talent and effectiveness. Pederson pulled the rug out from underneath every other player on that team that fought for three quarters. |
