Former FBI officials list growing

With Peter Strzok being escorted out of the FBI building last Friday, I figured it was only fare to contrast the thread of the Trump officials who have left with the FBI officials who are no longer in their jobs. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/...-resign-400533

Quote:
The list of officials frequently discussed in the texts who are no longer in their jobs seems to grow by the day. It includes former FBI Director James Comey, who was fired by Trump; former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe; Comey’s chief of staff, James Rybicki; FBI General Counsel James Baker; as well as Strzok, who was booted off the special counsel investigation and sent to a job in the FBI’s personnel division.
It's really clear that there was a biased hack job against Trump in the FBI at least, and likely other agencies as well. Then when you consider the incessant wail of the CNN's/MSNBCs of our country, it's a bit amazing that this president has actually moved his agenda forward, even as the "resistance" pushed against him and his team at every turn.

Re: Former FBI officials list growing

How many on your list were fired by Trump or one of his subordinates? Given the heavy turnover in the Trump administration, we can easily figure out he fires those that don't give him total loyalty.

You'll get no argument from me on Strzok, but if you're going to suggest men's political bias overrode their professional obligations and impeded their ability to do their job effectively we're going to need more than just Strzok/Page.

Also I'm a little surprised CNN/MSNBC is in your head with their "incessant wailing." Fox News/Breitbart to an extent are basically the right wing equivalent. They cancel each other out in my book.

LOL you really overlooked the Obama Presidency and how he used the executive powers.

Sir, this playbook was written by Obama...hence the ease in simply ordering or revoking Trump has done. If Obama couldn't implement legislation, he by passed congress....NOT as a short term strategy BUT a long term one with executive powers. His strategy became "WE Cant Wait" and would by pass congress again and again.

I suggest you read this article from the NYT:

Shift on Executive Power Lets Obama Bypass Rivals

https://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/23/u...-congress.html

Stop trying to re-write history, Ive noticed this a lot lately...everything from somehow Trump was responsible for the Russia hacking during his own Election to comments like these.

Did people just blindly follow Obama without knowing what he was doing?

I'm referring to the volume sir. Obama might have started it as a response to Congress' unwillingness to do anything, but Trump doesn't have that excuse. He's treating the Presidency much like he did his business, where he's at the center of power and everything goes through him. He expects undying loyalty from everyone who works for the gov't, and rewards those that give itto him while blaming everything on those that don't.

If he loses next election and a Dem takes the seat again with a Republican majority in Congress, I expect the trend to continue.

Sir...I do believe some of these executive orders should be brought to a vote and some sort of limits placed. That goes for Obamas and trumps of the world.

They thought the guy was a moron. He is. Last time I checked Comey decided to open and close the ludicrous Hillary Clinton email scandal a few days before the election while remaining silent about the Russia investigation involving low ranking coffee boys/campaign managers at the same point in time. That is the last thing I will say about this nonsense.

So a FBI lead investigator saying "We will stop him" about a major party's nominee is ok with you. Got it.

Oh man. Here we go. I tried to stand hard with my “this is the last thing ill say about this nonsense “ but that didn’t work. Lol.
Do not confuse his text with the Russia investigation which is exactly what Trump is trying to have his base believe.
Do you have a problem with the actual head of the FBI actually stopping HRC? Because that is exactly what happened when he reopened that investigation into nothing. The polls were accurate CRed. Until that bombshell. The one that Guliani somehow knew about. If heads of intelligence knew that Trump was compromised by the Russians or the mob than yes I have absolutely no problem with them wanting to stop him. I do have a problem with the idiot sending a casual text message knowing that he and his base would spin it into something it is not. Which is the “they just dont like me because they are part of the deep state and so everything you hear about me and my ties to the mob and russia is false!” narrative.
So you want to call him careless and naive? Go ahead. You want to act like it is a defense for everything we know about Trump and his cabinet /family/ low level coffee boy campaign staff did? Please do not.

First,

He held onto that bombshell as long as he could. Comey was an ignoramus and a want to be king maker. That's completely different than the group of at least 5 top level FBI agents/attorneys that literally texted and tried to stop a nominee of a major party from becoming president.

It's not a single casual text. There is a timeline of texts that are clearly laid out. It's why he was escorted from the FBI building, why McCabe lost his job without pension, and so on.

Regardless of Mueller's investigation the IG report (see quotes in other thread) and the FBI turnover listed here is clear evidence that the country should be concerned about top level FBI agents and attorneys that misuse their office as the IG himself said in this quote -
Quote:
I can’t imagine FBI agents even suggesting that they would use their powers to investigate any candidate for office,” Horowitz said. “I thought this was completely antithetical to the core values of the department and extremely serious.”
Just because MSM buries these truths and Fox highlights them shouldn't make them less disconcerting IF you understand the biases of both.

FBI agents/attorneys SHOULD NOT be playing king/queen maker roles - be it Comey, Strzok, McCabe or any of the laundry list of names.
