He loved RFK, it was one of his favorite venues to broadcast from.
I just remember as a kid his enthusiasm for the game made my enthusiasm for the game grow. Also how he explained the game and strategy in layman terms brought everyone more enjoyment. The classic Madden telestrator…you had to be there to enjoy it. Boom!

Somehow I never knew that stat about his coaching career until last night, I'm surprised how long it took to get him in the HOF. True icon of the game.
