It's March baby. Almost time for free agency and the draft is getting closer. Fuck yeah.

Has been made clear: they don’t want to overspend (esp with picks) to get someone with a roster they still need to build. Perhaps in another year in a different spot based on how this offseason goes.
There you have it! It's only the second year in the team building process which is too soon to go for an expensive trade for a top QB.

Vinny always went after players who were way past their prime, and Bruce didn't spend any money or picks at all.

Vinny would have given Texans our 1st round picks for the next 10 years.

Remember the time where we almost traded for Chad Johnson with out 1st round pick, only to see Chad Johnson released (or expired contract next year) by Bengals?

Yup. Vinny would trade our first round pick for Joe Flacco or some other washed up QB.

Bruce would say that we are close, and we don't need a QB.

Maybe we get lucky and Watson sits a year and we get him at a reduced price. That would be truly unSnyderesque.

Mac Jones has been the popular Mock as of late and I can't say I hate it

Given our other alternatives I wouldn’t be against it at 19. However I think I might prefer Darrisaw at 19 and Trask in the 2nd round.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021

The more I see and read about Jones, the more I like the pick. I like the idea of getting an all pro level LT (and looking after him this time) but if that QB is there at #19 I'd pull the trigger. A great OL and an average QB can only go so far. A great QB and an average OL is more likely to go further (and be easier to fix).

This right here. Although, I would label it as BPA (I would wait on a receiver) in the first round.

.........you'd still have Haskins.

This is an interesting ranking by Chris Simms.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021

I'm a Mac Jones guy but I don't see him over Fields and Lance has big time potential but we also have to remember, 4 of these 6 guys will most likely do nothing in the pros.. History proves that

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021

It's looking more and more like Jones at 19 would be a good pick. I'm not sure he'll be there though. If not, I hope they load up on WR, O-line, DB/LB in rounds 1-3 and maybe get Mond or Newman in the 4th.
