Mooby, first thing is have patience and expect testing numbers to go way up as well as cases. 2nd thing, can your fucking generation stop traveling? It’s amazing how the constant bitch about not affording things, yet want to travel all the time. Y’all are spreading this shit. I know gas is a 1.80, I know plane tickets are the lowest since the 80s...3rd, stay in the house and obey local government. It’s no wonder nyc is full of Coronavirus, they refuse to stay inside. My bro in law says no one gives a shit, city been packed. 4th, stop policing speech it’s not spreading the disease or stopping it.

Everyone gonna have to be uncomfortable, just settle in and ride it out. I’m glad you are blaming China, their negligence have cost lives in a way that it’s like an act of war. Just think of all the sick people they exported. Italy has traced patient zero to a Chinese couple traveling...my sister’s nanny up in Connecticut is from a town in Northern Italy, her parents’ longtime neighbor died Sunday...early fifties. China has blood on their hands across the world.
Have you ever been there or close? I only did it once, but it has to be hands down the most crowded area in the USA. Commuting around that area is insane. I could not believe driving down Long Island, you had areas that had that small town look, but people we packed in like sardines in a can. I could not image living like that at any cost, and it is as expensive as hell.

I'm spoiled on the west coast, but I went there in 2007 in August. I was not prepared. It was so fucking humid. I was walking around downtown New York City in a wifebeater. And it was so damn humid I didn't care.

There are a shit ton of people there. You have to have a certain mindset to be able to live there (if you weren't raised there). I definitely don't have it.

I'm originally from the bay area, and San Francisco is a mini NYC. I could never live there. To me its insane, but people there seem to love it.

It takes all kinds I guess.

When I lived in Riverside I probably made a trip to San Fran every one to two years from 1996-2010 (When I moved East). I know the locals make fun of the tourists that hit the pier 39 area, but I always liked The Saloon and that museum full of old arcade games that you can still play. Of course who doesn't like all those obnoxious seals on the docks and those old boats.
It may be crowded, but nothing like the NYC area. The NYC area had me saying FTS, never again.

I did stop traveling FYI, I had a trip booked for tomorrow-Sunday that's cancelled now. Still have my Vegas-Cali trip flight tickets booked for June but obviously that's going to be cancelled too unless the virus goes away.

In the meantime I agree, but don't be so narrow and blame millenials. We're in our 30's now, and it seems a lot of these idiots going out and partying/etc. are in their 20's. Different generation, obviously not concerned a bit about the virus.

We're in the middle of a major fucking crisis and this guy is passing the buck and getting pissy at reporters for doing their jobs. Unbelievable.

The only Trump news I get is all second hand. If he starts talking I change the channel. He probably has done more than any president that has impacted me with the tariffs, but listening to that obnoxious, unhinged blowhard does nothing but get my blood pressure up. I pretty much ignore him.

I am shocked at how many people never heard of Trump till he was on reality TV. Heck my girlfriend didn't know who he was till he ran for president. I have been appalled by the guy since he owned the New Jersey Generals 35 years ago.
Then there was al the crap he pulled in Atlantic City.

If you think this is going to make any Trumper reconsider their views, I have some oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you.

I thought you were younger mooby...damn my bad. Well they are still traveling tho. They are fucking up big time. Anybody traveling is a per asshole and should not be complaining about one fucking thing and should shut the fuck up.

My brother in-law...long time New Yorker and works in the mid town...blaiso fucked up everything, the kids were still in school 10 days ago. People def weren’t social distancing over the weekend. Yes time square is empty...that’s for camera shots only to make it appear to rest of country. But folks still interacting and acting completely irresponsible...all ages, races and ethnicities. It’s a disgrace. 5 of his traders all in their 30s tested positive last Friday. Why? Cause they are fucking retards. After this is over, they all well be fired and/or let go.

Probably 15 trips to the city. My sister lived in the upper east side and had a good friend in college who lived in Bergen county nj. I was always up there

I lived out side of NYC(Essex County NJ) most of my life till I married then moved to Maryland in 1980 but the family is still all up there. Father worked downtown and we would go into see him once in a while and I hated it. I can get you around town but I get lost in the Subway system up there. We would take the train from town into the city to see the Knicks or Rangers back in the mid 70's .Last time in the city was after 9/11 we had friends come over from England and we took them to NYC and showed them around .You're right about it being backed but back when I was growing up on Sundays and most weekends Wall Street was so empty you could throw a rock and not hit a soul.

Re: Coronavirus (political)

Love NYC, I’m a 2.5 hour train ride away. Try to get down there a couple times a year. I think if I was in my 20s living there would be fun, but now I’m ok with just visiting
