Re: New coaches who?

I'm glad someone reminded me that Jon Gruden may be available. If we can't get Cowher, then we need somebody who can inspire the Redskins. I really thought Jim Zorn would make a great coach, but I've had a change of heart. This is a sad day. The plays that worked last year in the first half of that season just aren't working this year. I guess CP is used up as well.

Honestly I hope we get rid of Bugle ASAP. This may ruffle a few feathers but I think the FO puts too much faith in him to be able to take less talented players and coach them up into studs like he did in the 80's. I really think we need some new blood which will eventually lead to us getting better players.

Not exactly in those words because he was on TV.

Re: New coaches who?

Jon Gruden knows the WCo which means we dont have to change to offense again for the 100th time.

Dungy just retired don't see him coming back now, meaning next year. Maybe never.

Cowher will be the HC of the Panthers. Close to home.

Movin on....we will have a new interim HC before seasons end.

Call him and make him our GM...then let him hire whoever the hell he wants as coach.

That's the coach we need...whoever the hell Schotty says we need.

So does Shanahan, and either way I completely agree.

Re: New coaches who?

I think even the best of coaches is going to be stymied as long as the team is managed in the manner it is.

Forgot about Gruden, he would be an option. He would definitely bring a swagger that this team has been missing for years.

What are those coaches going to do under the this managment structure.

It's like switching QB's in our offense at the end of last year. They just would have had no time to throw anyway.

Re: New coaches who?

I don't want Cowher -- he or any other defensive coach will mean more mediocrity on offense.

Got to be an offensive coach. Shanahan.
