They have too, or fire the o coordinator to find someone to get Russ into an offense that works better him. Which is unfortunate because this system isn’t working and Russ isn’t going anywhere

Tom Brady could end up in New England this offseason, Patriots insider says
The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, who has covered the Patriots for more than a decade, said, "Don’t ever write off the Patriots," in a recent article that broke down where the veteran quarterback might play next season if he decides he wants to return for a 24th campaign in the NFL. |

Re: Around the NFL week 13
If Brady plays next year why would he go to NE? The team stinks on offense. No weapons at all. Then you have two guys who aren't even offense first coaches calling plays. Then you have to deal w/ a grumpy ass coach and play in cold weather. Old players don't want to play in the cold. On top of all that look around at the NFC East? You've got Tua ( who should be our QB) playing out of his mind and then Josh Allen, plus the Jets who are way better now. It ain't happening.

Re: Around the NFL week 13
I really have never cared about the AFC, still don't. Unless it directly helps us if one team wins or it's like a Chiefs vs. Bills type game, I'm just not that interested. Bills vs. Patriots is a yawn fest.

Re: Around the NFL week 13
Brady should retire. He is starting to show his age and the game is just so different now. I think in a couple more years the league won't have any pure drop back guys.
I'm watching this game tonight and the Pats are going nowhere w/ Mac Jones. He just can't make any plays or carry an offense. |

Seems like Brady identifies himself as a football player. It's not just what he does, it's who he his. If that's your identity, that makes it harder to walk away. I don't know him, so it's just opinion. But I think just in general, it could be true.

Mac Jones is tired of not being on a great team. He's not used to dominating like Bama did:

The Pats run was buried 3 years ago. It's time for BB to move on

This is why it baffles me that they are thinking about going back to Brady. Like really? He's your answer?

Re: Around the NFL week 13
I think Hoody is done after this year. It will be kinda a mutual thing. I think the Kraft's probably want some fresh new blood in there, it's just time I feel. They're nothing but an average team now.
The division has past the Pats by. They're going to have to try and beat Josh Allen and Tua for the next several years. Ain't happening. |

How boring are the Pats now? They're offense is unwatchable.

Did you guys know Jim Irsay has a rock band and he’s the lead singer? He tours with Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Ann Wilson, John Mellencamp. That explains why he looks wasted all the time. They are coming to SF on Dec. 10th. https://youtu.be/5DHhnUKPcq8
