He’s flying a little under the radar but his experience as like a 3-4 year starter, athletic, arm strength, size, natural leader, winning results, good pocket awareness and has that off script play.

I don’t know if he is a top 10 pick, but I think he is a first round QB talent. He would be my choice as a guy who can be coached and come in and play

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread

I hate trying to self-scout QB's. Most college offenses all look the same now and they are no where similar to what teams can and do run in the NFL. Makes it very difficult to try to guess if they can transfer their results to the NFL. Ridder is a perfect example of that. Has the physical skills, but their offense is all RPO stuff and half his yards are little routes thrown around the LOS.

You can say that about a big chunk of NFL starters right now.

The pieces are nice but without a QB this team is going nowhere. WFT needs to keep drafting QBs until they finally hit on one.

Agree, it's really hard to judge who is going to be good or not...

Herbert and Allen are prime examples , nobody saw them being this good.

Then u look at Fields and he looks absolutely lost out there

I'd bet it's not a big chunk of the good QBs.

I feel bad for Fields. Nagy is not doing him any favors.

Fields shouldn't be playing. He's totally lost out there.

It be interesting to flip Mac and Justin, how much of the franchise depends on your ability to grow?

NE has a good track record, realize they had Brady but still a great franchise.

Bears not so much and their QB carousel spins as fast ours.

Mac jones is way better than I expected, in fact he's doing it with some very average WRs. Big props to him
