We are starting a new game soon maybe if you told me what you guys thought were your biggest needs i could address it better.........
1. Franchise QB
2. #1 CB / #1 WR
3. #1 WR / #1 CB
4. OL (RT or g/c) and safety

if we get a #1 cb (like claiborne or grimes) hall is probably gone.
cooley stays most likely unless his health is just awful, he's cheap, we have lots of cash.

WR will be a FA signing, franchise QB will be our #1 draft pick, OL will probably be a FA deal (like grubbs). we have some decent OL guys, but the starters are weak, so bumping 1 or 2 to backups would be great.

we'd love another DE too, but i don't think it's a huge need and I don't see a guy to fall over ourselves to get (unless rak leaves in trade).

this has all been covered in the 2012 redskins thread, so i don't know why you haven't looked at that or posted this there, since that's where it belongs.

Everyone is bashing this thread, but I think it is amazing. Granted his team sucks, but think of the general concept. 32 people pretending to be gms, and going through an offseason. Mods, we should organize something like this. Make some rules for free agency and trades (maybe have probability (like a random number generator) play into it or have a judge rule what would happen or what is fair ). Make sure everyone knows their cap situation. It would be hella intense but I would love it. Get 32 dedicated people, and randomly assign them to 32 teams and have a free agency day, then have a draft day. Super nerds like myself would love that. If you guys are on board....I'm in the 32 for sure.

we did that once with a full 7 round mock draft... we had 32 people sign up, yet i ended up gm'ing like 10 teams due to drop outs. It was cool, but too much work.

I nominate you to organize it.

I'd be in for 3 rounds max, 2 rounds ideally. 7 is just too much. I'd just be picking random people at positions of need after 2 rounds. But we def need 32 people for this game to work. Nobody should gm more than 1 team.

until they go mia when they should be picking etc. NCAA has great stat pages and all that, and you can kinda see late round gems there, like cooley, who had 102 catches as a fullback (b back, in his system the b back was really only there to catch passes)... and the lb's / safeties with 120 tackles a year normally are the ones that end up as productive late rounders.

you can look up the old threads, but it took a lot of work to organize, only to have some people ignore all the research and just pick a name from a hat or choose a non-need position 3 rounds too early or whatnot.

Are you a Dallas/Philly/New Jersey fan?

Why would you do this to our team?

I love this site. It's always been kind of interesting why someone with say like 10k posts, would stop posting dead turkey. I really don't see any scenario where I'm not posting at least a few times a week. But that's just me though.
