Yes, this summer is going to blow if this pace keeps up. firstdown 01-12-2010, 09:29 AM CNN/Money: Global gas prices (http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/global_gasprices/) Nothing compared to most of the world . BleedBurgundy 01-12-2010, 09:31 AM Record cold leading to more heating oil being used? Only thing that I can think of... firstdown 01-12-2010, 09:33 AM My boat has a 160 gallon fule tank which to fill up would cost me around $430. I only fill up the boat when I'm going to keep it in the water and the cost of gas at a marina is about 50 cents more per gallon. Filling it up to just run around the river some does not make sense because each extra gallon weighs about 8 pounds of extra weight. Monkeydad 01-12-2010, 09:54 AM Gas went up 40 cents in the last week around here. It's the President's fault, riiiiiiiiiight? :D CRedskinsRule 01-12-2010, 10:06 AM My boat has a 160 gallon fule tank which to fill up would cost me around $430. Wow, how is that possible? mredskins 01-12-2010, 10:09 AM Wow, how is that possible? Have you ever tried carrying around a gallon of milk? It is not light. CRedskinsRule 01-12-2010, 10:19 AM Have you ever tried carrying around a gallon of milk? It is not light. ok, but 8 pounds, i just hadn't thought about it in those terms. Maybe i'll go by a gallon of milk and weigh it :laughing- MTK 01-12-2010, 10:27 AM WikiAnswers - How much does one gallon of water weigh (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_does_one_gallon_of_water_weigh) |
