Yoshi?
With the #1 Overall Pick, The Redskins Select...TheMalcolmConnection 04-18-2006, 03:20 PM Yoshi? GTripp0012 04-18-2006, 03:44 PM Mario Willams or D'Brick would be the best fit for the team but... I still take Bush. Don't think twice. A quote in ESPN i found interesting, "He had 177 total yards against Texas in the Rose Bowl, on only 19 touches. After that game, everybody called him a disappointment." With his abilities I would find it hard for him not to be an unbelievable player in the NFL. jdlea 04-18-2006, 05:21 PM 70$mill on DEs is somehow different from $107mill on unproven WRs? moss worked out, how about patten, El, and lloyd (who i'm projecting to get another 30mill deal)? knocking mario as unproven and then calling davis unstoppable is kinda ironic ;) I never called him unstoppable, for one. I said he impressed me and I think he's worthy of the top pick, if you're a team that needs a DE. Like, for example, the Texans. I think Washington addressed their DE issues already. That said, he is unproven. He hasn't done anything in the NFL yet, he could get shut down for all anyone knows. I'd be willing to bet that he won't, but I've been wrong before. However, it's my opinion that we should go after a TE because the O still needs to catch up to the D. Also, I don't ever remember talking about being comfortable with the money we spent on our WR's. Dirtbag59 04-18-2006, 05:28 PM I'd take Heath Schuler Sociofan 04-18-2006, 05:33 PM I'd trade the pick, move down in the first round and get lots more picks. :food-smil D'BOYZ 04-18-2006, 07:12 PM For us would be easy Ferguson hands down #2 would be M. Williams #3 Hawk #4 Ngata #5 Huff Pocket$ $traight 04-18-2006, 09:32 PM You don't pass up Bush period. He would look like Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl in Al Saunders' system. Have you seen that still shot where the Notre Dame linebacker is in mid air putting on the textbook tackle? Too bad Reggie is six feet in the air and jumping over him like Vince Carter did to that 7'0 French guy. |
